The third volume in composer Kuroishi Hitomi's series, following Legend of Peach Valley - Four Seasons, is inspired by works of art in the Miho Museum collection. The eternal flow of time, and the power of art to transcend national borders… Kuroishi originally composed this music in the hopes of delivering healing following natural disasters, and later adapted many parts of it to the broader theme of belief in the revival of the spirit and of the earth. Over the ages and to this day, humankind has called out for revival after disasters such as earthquakes, but the prayers this music contains are for not merely superficial recovery, but the true rebirth of the spirit from its very depths and peace for all humanity. |
