*Sacred Cups: Let’s Make a Rhyton!
Sunday, July 20, 2008 and Sunday, August 17, 2008 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Doors open at 10:00 a.m.


Children(elementary school students and older) can enjoy the rhyta exhibition and sketch ideas in the morning. In the afternoon, a professional potter will teach them how to make their own rhyton.

*Ancient Stamps: Let’s Carve a Cylinder Seal!
Sunday, July 27, 2008 from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Doors open at 10:00 a.m.
Students (grades four and up) can enjoy the rhyta exhibition and look for various motifs from among the works in the morning. In the afternoon, they can carve their own cylinder seal under the guidance of an instructor and practice rolling out the impression onto a slab of clay.

Fee: ¥2000 (museum entrance must be paid separately)
Capacity: 15 students (from fourth grade and up)
