2009 Spring Special Exhibition
The Eurasian Wind to Silla

The wind that blows
eastward from the Eurasian Steppe
gave bloom to a efflorescent golden culture
in fifth to sixth-century Silla.

Crowns with golden trees,
Roman glass,
Horn cups,
Horse armor.

Connecting enigmatic cultures.

The wind moved across the ocean
And colored the dawning of Japan.

Saturday, March 14 to Sunday, June 7, 2009
Organized by MIHO MUSEUM, Ancient Orient Museum, Okayama Orient Museum, Kyongju National Museum, and Jeju National Museum

* Images above include objects that are planned to be on exhibit.
