Last year, the photo contest sponsored by MIHO MUSEUM’s Friends of the Museum welcomed its tenth anniversary. More than a thousand excellent photographs have been submitted for this contest over the last ten years. As the organizers, we feel that we have accomplished our original goals for this event and will not be holding the photo contest for the time being. We express our deep appreciation to the many participants and to those who have assisted us over the years.

This outstanding work powerfully captures the lines and emphasizes the beauty of the composition. The ceiling and walls come together marvelously and the outside scenery is skillfully incorporated, capturing the interior and exterior space in a single shot. (Commentary by Jirō Sawai) |
